Bonnie, Neil, and Megan flew in to
Orlando. After getting on Disney's Magical
Express, we met Courtney at Bay Lake Tower
to begin our July vacation. We ate lunch
at Contempo Cafe before heading to Magic
Kingdom. Our first stop was the
Confectionery where we saw our friend
Krissie. Neil, Megan, and Courtney went on
Big Thunder Railroad and Space Mountain.
We headed back to the room to get ready for
dinner. We took the boat from the dock at
the Contemporary to Fort Wilderness so that
we could eat at Trails End for dinner. We
love the buffet that has cold boiled shrimp,
salad, fried chicken, gravy, mashed
potatoes, corn, cowboy beans, carving
station, and more! After dinner we took the
boat to Magic Kingdom. Our first stop was
the Confectionery where Megan got a Mickey
cake pop. We had great seats for Disney's
Main Street Electrical Light Parade. We
watched the Celebrate the Magic show that is
projected on Cinderella's Castle and then
watched Wishes Fireworks.
7/11/16
We headed to Epcot for park opening
to ride the new version of Soarin' Around
the World. We loved it! Next, we said hi
to our Disney pals, Mickey, Minnie and
Goofy, and then headed to Starbucks for a
morning treat. Afterwards, we headed to the
new DVC lounge in the Imaginations Pavillon
where we relaxed, charged up our phones and
had complimentary drinks and snacks. It's a
beautiful view of Epcot and such a nice
benefit for Disney Vacation Club members. We ate lunch in Mexico at San Jose
Cantina and enjoyed nachos and beef tacos. Courtney headed to change clothes
for work and Neil, Megan and I headed back
to Bay Lake Tower. Megan and I went
swimming in the pool. The 3 of us headed
back to Epcot. We saw Courtney working the
park entry as a Guest Relations Hostess.
Then we stopped to see some Disney pals,
Mickey and Goofy. Neil, Megan and I went on Soarin'
Around the World again. On our way through
the countries we stopped and said hi to
Aurora in France. In America we listened to
Bruce in the USA - a tribute to Bruce
Springsteen with the Sounds Like Summer
concert series. We ate dinner at Via Napoli tonight.
7/12/16
We slept in this morning and had a
relaxing day by the pool. We switched rooms
to a higher floor with a better view. We
got ready for dinner and headed to The
Polynesian to eat at Ohana. We enjoyed Hawaiian bread, salad,
noodles, and skewers of chicken, shrimp, and
beef. We headed back to Bay Lake Tower to
watch fireworks from our balcony.
7/13/16
Courtney headed to work at Epcot
this morning, while Neil, Megan and I went
to Magic Kingdom for a few hours. First,
Neil and Megan rode on Space Mountain. Then
the 3 of us went to Carousel Of Progress and
Monsters Inc Laugh Floor. We went to Pecos
Bill for lunch where we enjoyed nachos. After lunch we went on Seven Dwarves
Mine Train, then headed back to Bay Lake to
chill. We headed to Epcot for the night
and stopped to say hi to Mickey and Goofy.
Then we went to Garden Grill for a character
all you can eat family style meal. Mickey,
Pluto, Chip and Dale. We enjoyed ((list
food )) After dinner, we went to Norway for
the Frozen Ever After ride. On our way out
of Epcot, we saw fireworks from Hollywood
Studios.
7/14/16
Happy 26th anniversary to Bonnie and
Neil! Courtney worked this morning. We
walked to Magic Kingdom. We rode Buzz
Lightyear and then said hi to our pal Buzz.
We headed to say hi to Rapunzel and Tiana.
Then we rode on Cinderella's Carousel. We
met Courtney at Grand Floridian to eat lunch
at Grand Floridian Cafe. Then we headed off
property to do some Disney shopping. We had
a relaxing afternoon and chilled by the
pool, and then got ready for the evening.
We headed to Grand Floridian to eat our
anniversary dinner at Narcoossee's. We had
an amazing dinner and Courtney and Megan
surprised us with an anniversary cake at the
end of our meal. We watched the water
pageant parade and Wishes fireworks from the
GF dock.
We headed to Animal Kingdom. We
took pictures with Chip, Dale, and Rafiki at
the front entrance. Courtney, Megan and
Neil went on Expedition Everest and then we
went to go see The Festival of the Lion
King. We ate lunch at Flame Tree Barbecue.
We said hi to Mickey and Minnie on our way
out. Courtney headed to Epcot to go to work
and we headed to the resort. Megan and I
went to the pool for awhile. We went to
Magic Kingdom and had dinner at The Plaza.
We headed back to Bay Lake Tower to watch
fireworks from the room
7/16/16
Today we are headed to Hollywood
Studios. We rode Toy Story Mania and then
went to go have breakfast at Starring Rolls
Cafe. Neil, Courtney and Megan rode Rock N
Roller Coaster. We all went to the Frozen Sing A
Long. Then we headed to Back Lot Express
to eat lunch. Afterwards, Courtney headed
to Epcot for her shift and Bonnie, Neil, and
Megan headed back to the resort. We
chilled a bit and then headed to Disney
Springs for the afternoon and evening. We
ate dinner at T Rex. Enjoyed bruschetta,
fried cheese, salad, fish and chips, and
shrimp and pasta. Then we walked around
Disney Springs and looked at all the
stores. We met Courtney at Ghiradelli's
after she got off work.
7/17/16
We went to Typhoon Lagoon water park
while Courtney was working. We did the wave
pool, lazy river and Keyhaul Falls. After
eating lunch at Typhoon Tilly we headed back
to the resort. After Courtney got off work, we
headed to Disney Springs for the night. We
are dinner at D-Luxe Burger. We enjoyed
walking around the new shops at Disney
Springs.
7/18/16
We had a lazy morning and then
headed to Epcot. It was great to see
Courtney at the front entrance as we walked
in. Then we saw our pal Daisy. We went on
Figment and then to the DVC lounge to chill
and have complimentary snacks and drinks.
We went to Turtle Talk with Crush. We ate
lunch at Sunshine Seasons. We met Courtney when she got off
work and rode home with her. We chilled in our room for a little
while. The four of us headed to Magic
Kingdom. We said hello to Ariel in her
grotto and then went to eat dinner at Be Our
Guest. After dinner we said hello to The
Beast. We watched Wishes fireworks from
outside of Beast's castle and then watched
Celebrate the Magic on Cinderella Castle
7/19/16
We enjoyed a nice breakfast buffet
at The Wave, inside The Contemporary. Then
we headed back to our room to pack up since
we are switching to Old Key West resort
today. We all went to relax at the Bay Lake
Tower pool and then ate lunch at Contempo
Cafe. After we got the text that our room
was ready, we headed over to Old Key West
and got everything unpacked. We are
heading to Animal Kingdom tonight. We ate
dinner at Yak N Yeti. Afterwards we headed
to Killamanjaro Safari for a night time
safari ride. Then we saw the Tree of Life
awakening.

We all watched Jungle Book - Alive
with Magic.
Today we went to Magic Kingdom.
We started the day by riding in a
Main Street vehicle down Main Street. We
watched The Trolley Show. Then we Said hi
to our good friend, Mayor Weaver on Main
Street and got great pictures with him with
the castle behind us. We ate lunch at Pinocchio Village
Haus, enjoying chicken Parmesan sandwiches.
We watched the new castle show, Mickey's
Royal Friendship Faire. Courtney, Megan,
and Neil rode on Space Mountain and then we
headed back to the resort. After chilling
for a short bit, we went to Epcot. We said hi to our pals, Mickey and
Goofy. Then we stopped in Norway to say hi
to Anna and Elsa. We ate dinner at Via Napoli with
Mitch and Tina and had a nice visit with
them. We rode Friendship boat to Hollywood
Studios where we saw Star Wars Fireworks - A
Galactic Spectacular.
7/21/16
Neil took Courtney to work so that
we could use Courtney's car. We went to
Character Warehouse, a Disney outlet store.
Then we went to the mall, had lunch and
Carlo's Bakery. Then back to the resort. Tonight we are going to Yachtman's
Steakhouse at Yacht Club. This is one of
our very favorite places to eat! We headed
to go see Wishes fireworks at Top of the
World, the rooftop at Bay Lake Tower.
7/22/16
Animal Kingdom Courtney, Megan and Neil rode on
Dinosaur and Primeval Whirl. All four of us went on Triceratop
Spin. Then we headed to watch Festival of
the Lion King and Finding Nemo the Musical.
We are lunch at Restaurantasaurus.
Courtney, Megan and Neil went to Hollywood
Studios to use a fast pass on Rock N Roller
Coaster, met some friends on Hollywood Blvd, then headed back to meet Bonnie at
the resort. We went to the Grand Floridian
to eat dinner at 1900 Park Fair. We saw
Cinderella, Prince Charming, Stepmother,
Anastasia and Drizella. Then we went to
Magic Kingdom. Megan had a magical moment
in the Confectionery. A cast member gave
her two chocolate covered marshmallows. Then
we watched Wishes fireworks and headed back
to the resort.
7/23/16
While Courtney worked, we had a
chill morning in the resort and then we
headed to Epcot. First we rode on Spaceship
Earth. Courtney finished her shift and
joined us. We took the friendship boat to Japan
and ate lunch at Tokyo Dining. We walked
around the countries to Norway, where we
rode Frozen Ever After. Ellen's Universe of Energy Went by Courtney's apartment We went to Disney Springs and ate
dinner at D Luxe Burgers.
7/24/16
While Courtney worked, we went to
Epcot. We are counter service lunch from
Mexico and Norway. We visited with
Elizabeth in Norway. Then we said hi to
Donald in Mexico. After Courtney
finished her shift, we all met at the DVC
lounge to chill a bit. Bonnie and Megan went on Finding
Nemo. We rode Soarin Around the
World. Then we said hi to our Disney pals,
Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto. We went to
China to eat at Nine Dragons for dinner.
After dinner we headed back to the resort
for a relaxing swim. After showers we went
to Bay Lake Tower to watch Wishes fireworks
from the Top of the World lounge with
Nichole.
Happy 19th birthday to Megan! We
headed to Magic Kingdom to celebrate her
birthday. We first stopped in to see
Tinkerbell and then we got breakfast from
Main Street Bakery (Starbucks). We watched
the Trolley Show and then headed to Space
Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain. We ate
lunch at Be Our Guest. Then we headed back
to the resort to swim and chill a bit.
Before leaving the resort for the night, we
saw Donald Duck in his Christmas attire
since Old Key West is celebrating Christmas
in July today. We headed to Magic Kingdom. For dinner we are eating at Chef
Mickey's at the Contemporary. We love
seeing Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and
Goofy. We went back to Magic Kingdom and
watched Celebrate the Magic and Wishes
fireworks. Then Neil, Megan and Courtney
rode on Big Thunder Mountain.
