2/11/16

We are excited to be in Disney World in February, to celebrate Courtney's birthday.  Bonnie and Neil met Courtney at All Star Movies.  We went to Magic Kingdom and ate dinner at Cosmic Rays, enjoying chicken nuggets and french fries.  We did some shopping, and then watched Wishes Fireworks.  Megan's flight came in late that night, arriving from college to meet us for the weekend.

2/12/16

Bonnie ate breakfast with Courtney then she went to work.  Neil, Megan and Bonnie headed to Magic Kingdom, where we said hi to a few Citizens on Main Street.  Then, we went to go ride on the Peoplemover and go see Carousel of Progress.  Courtney met us st Magic Kingdom, where on Main Street, the Dapper Dans serenaded Courtney with a special Happy Birthday song.  We ate lunch at Pecos Bill, enjoying fajitas and nachos.  We watched the  Festival of Fantasy parade, and then rode Space Mountain.  We went back to the resort to rest a bit, and get ready for the evening.  We ate dinner at Trail's End, enjoying the delicious buffet dinner of salad, fried chicken, gravy, mashed potatoes, and more.  We went back to Magic Kingdom, watching the Celebrate the Magic projection show and Wishes fireworks.  Tomorrow morning, we are headed to Hollywood Studios.

2/13/16

This morning, we went to Hollywood Studios, where Neil, Courtney and Megan rode Rock N Roller Coaster.  We ate breakfast at Starring Rolls Cafe, enjoying sweetrolls, muffins, and bagels.  We said hello to the Storm troopers and XXX in the new Star Wars section.  Then, stopped to say hi to a Green Army man.  We were happy to see our favorite DVC XXX, Nichole, and catch up with her.  Next, we stopped to see Mike and Sully of Monsters Inc before heading to eat lunch at Studio Catering Company, enjoying salads, soup, and sandwiches. 

While we were at Hollywood Studios, we took pictures along the Avenue Streets, that they will be remodeling soon.  We also saw some of Courtney's friends from work.  From Hollywood Studios, we took a bus to Animal Kingdom.  We met John Smith and Pocahontas.  We were so excited to meet Lane, a precious little girl that we follow on Instagram.  She was so adorably cute, and was full of hugs and kisses.  Next, we went to go see Festival of the Lion King.  Afterwards, we headed to the resort to rest a bit, and get ready for the night. 

We went to the Yacht Club, to eat dinner at one of our favorites, Yachtsman's Steakhouse, enjoying our caesar salads and filet mignons. 

After dinner, we headed to Magic Kingdom to watch Celebrate the Magic and Wishes fireworks.  After fireworks, we went on Jungle Cruise, to see Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, and then to take a little ride on the Peoplemover.

2/14/16

 

This morning, we said goodbye to Megan, as she headed on the Magical Express bus, to head to the airport, to go back to college.  After taking pictures around All Star Movies, Bonnie, Neil and Courtney headed to Magic Kingdom.  We said hi to Scoop, Bea Starr, and Penelope Prose, all on Main Street.  Then, we said hi to our favorite chipmunks, Chip and Dale.  We went on the Liberty Square Riverboat, and went to go explore on Tom Sawyer's Island.  We stopped to go say hi to the Fairy Godmother, and then went to go ride on the Voyage of the Little Mermaid.  We ate lunch at The Pinocchio Village Haus, and enjoyed parmesan chicken sandwiches.  We went on the Winnie the Pooh Ride.  On our way out, we stopped for a quick hello from Chief Smoky, as he was on his fire engine, going down Main Street.  Then, we headed back to All Star Movies, to get ready for the night.  The 3 of us went to Epcot, and first stopped at Epcot Character Spot, to say hi to a few pals, Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy.  We took the boat from Canada to Morroco, and then went to go see The American Adventure Show in America.  We ate dinner at Via Napoli, enjoying fried cheese, arancini, and pizza.  After dinner, we took the monorail from Epcot to Magic Kingdom.  We stopped to say hi to our favorite fairy, Tinkerbell.  Then, we watched Celebrate the Magic and Wishes Fireworks, before heading back to the resort for the night.  Tomorrow morning, we are heading back to Magic Kingdom for the day.

2/15/16

Courtney went to work, while Bonnie and Neil headed to Magic Kingdom for a few hours, before their flight back home.  We stopped to see the Dapper Dans, decked on in their patriotic red, white, and blue, for Presidents' Day.  we went to go ride on Haunted Mansion, then stopped to say hi to Tiana.  We went to the Hall of Presidents exhibit, before having lunch at Plaza Restaurant.  We enjoyed cheese steak and club sandwiches for lunch.  We went for a little ride on the Liberty Belle Riverboat, and then went on It's A Small World.  It was awesome, being able to come to Disney World in February, to celebrate Courtney's birthday with her, and so glad that Megan could join us as well, with her college schedule.  Until next time - when we will see ya soon!
